This will be the only way to qualify for the APA 8-Ball Doubles Championship in Las Vegas!
With 10 teams we are guaranteed to send 1 team to Las Vegas!
With 20 teams we are guaranteed to send 2 teams to Las Vegas!
8-Ball Doubles (scotch doubles) all APA rules apply.
Bi-weekly Matches will consist of 2 singles APA race matches, and 1 doubles match, for a max of 12 points per week plus bonus points.
$30 per team per week.
The singles matches are played using standard format rules and points.
The doubles match is double the points and standard format rules—with minor exceptions outlined in the Official Team Manual.
You may have 3 people on a roster ***see below for details

Paper scoring MUST be done correctly and filled out completely and neatly to receive points
Match must be paid for in cash the night of play or in the APA app the night of play to receive points

Top finishers from each session will qualify for the 8-Ball Doubles Tournament to qualify a team to go to Las Vegas!
With more than 16 teams, this division will turn into an alternating week division, where teams will play every other week.
Teams must begin division play at a combined SL10 or less. The players participating in the doubles matches must equal a combined SL10 or less, at the start of a division session.
Teams may increase in the session to a combined SL 12, and remain eligible for Vegas.
If the team improves to a combined SL13 or higher, at least 1 player will need to be replaced so that the team returns to a combined SL10 handicap or less.
IF you have 3 players on a roster, every combination of handicaps must be 10 or less to start the session.
ex: You cannot have 7-7-3 on a roster, but you can have 7-3-3
Travel assistance to Las Vegas and the roster of the 8-Ball Doubles Championship and Qualifier will be the CAPTAIN AND CO-CAPTAIN ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! The 3rd player on a roster is strictly to act as a sub for weekly team play only, and will not be on a championship roster.
The 2 players who play the singles games must play the doubles game for that match.
Players cannot be on 2 teams
Makeup matches must be done within 2 weeks, and no makeups are allowed in the last 2 weeks of the session. All matches must be made up by the 2nd to last week of the session.
The lag does not count as a turn in the partner rotation.
A team shooting out of rotation will result in a foul, and Ball-In-Hand given to the opponent.
One time out, per team per rack, is allowed for the Scotch Doubles match.
